How Anglers Resource rebuilt the way the business runs on one platform

The exclusive Fuji distributor in the Americas, with more than twenty years of standing in the industry, now runs its brand, catalogue, inventory and customer relationships through a single system.

Who Anglers Resource are

Anglers Resource is the exclusive distributor of Fuji fishing components across North and South America, supplying thousands of SKUs to distributors, manufacturers, custom rod builders and original equipment manufacturers. The scale and the reputation were earned over two decades. Partner since 2023, ongoing.

Where the work started

The digital and operational infrastructure hadn't evolved at the same pace as the business it supported. Sales, inventory, purchasing, accounting and customer management lived across separate tools and manual processes. Orders arrived by phone, email, spreadsheet and trade show. Inventory visibility was limited, reporting was slow and customers relied on direct contact with the sales team to place and track orders. The brief was larger than a new website: redesign how the business operates digitally, without disrupting a profitable operation already in motion.

What we did

Brand and identity

Positioning and visual language clarified to match Anglers Resource's standing in the industry. The mark, the type system and the tone of voice were rebuilt to work on a trade platform, a trade show booth and a custom rod builder's catalogue without ever feeling out of place. This is brand identity built for handover.

Positioning · Visual identity · Brand book · Tone of voice

Platform and buying experience

The information architecture was restructured for the people who actually buy: distributors, manufacturers and custom builders. A trade store was built with account logins, pricing by account type and bulk ordering, designed for how wholesale buying really works. This is ecommerce web design at trade scale.

Systems and integration

Customer records were defined end to end, and the inventory and order systems were connected to the storefront so stock levels and reporting reflect reality in real time. The internal team stopped chasing data across tools. This is system integration as we practise it.

Enablement and launch

Documentation, training and a content and search foundation for long-term organic growth. Sales, marketing, purchasing and accounting were all aligned on the new system before it went live.

“This project fundamentally changed how our business operates. What started as a website quickly became a complete rethink of our sales, inventory, and customer processes. Proud Brands challenged us, guided us, and built a system that actually fits how we work.”
