White space is something we love at Proud Brands. When used correctly white space allows your client a mental pause. This can be important to allow them to digest information you are giving them, or to highlight the importance of content in your website, magazine, or brochure.

Even though the industry term is white space or “negative space” you can use a variety of creative ways to accomplish this pause. This can be accomplished with graphics, photos or even headlines with minimal text. Remember the idea behind white space is to reduce the noise on the screen and allow your reader time to take in the information you are presenting them without overwhelming their senses.
